Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Cedar Beacon Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Nashville region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 441 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
