Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Redstone Yarrow Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Baltimore, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
