Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Quarry Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
