Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Redstone Ivory Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 146 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • We reply to every applicant.
