Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Orchard Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
