Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Logistics and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
