Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Birch Facilities and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for contractor visits and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cleaning schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
