Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Nova Orchard Environmental Services Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 753 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
