Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Foxglove Rowan Foods Group produces packaged foods at its New Orleans plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
