Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Fernwood Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Nashville region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
