Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Foxglove Stone Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Columbus, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service connections and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
