Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Lumen Lakeside Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
