Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Bluepeak Stone Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Portland. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
