Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Stonegate Harbor Freight is a Portland logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
