Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Silverline Vale Water Authority Partners is a public water utility serving the Detroit area. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 736 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
