Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Nova Fern Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
