Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Northwind Loom Auto Group is a Hartford company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for supplier deliveries and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
