Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Clearpath Bridge Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Detroit. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. We reward reliability. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
