Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Ironwood Keystone Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Detroit, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
