Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Summit Fern Energy Group is an energy provider in Madison focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for service connections and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
