Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Ironwood Bright Water Authority Group operates treatment plants and pipelines around Providence. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
