Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Ironwood Ashton Foods Group is a Phoenix food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
