Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Bright Forge Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Omaha. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
