Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Junction Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
