Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Highbridge Ashton Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Cleveland, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 487 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
