Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Foxglove Meridian Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Boston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 170 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
