Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Greenridge Umber Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Savannah, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
