Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Greenridge Birch Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Spokane design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
