Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Cedar Forge Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Fort Worth. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
