Operations Manager - process improvement (Raleigh, NC)

Summit Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Raleigh region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
