Operations Manager - process improvement (Raleigh, NC)

Silverline Lantern Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for parts orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 924 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
