Operations Manager - process improvement (Providence, RI)

Stonegate Basin Foods Partners is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 585 people based in Providence. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ingredient orders.
