Operations Manager - process improvement (Providence, RI)

Harborlight Lantern Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Providence and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
