Operations Manager - process improvement (Portland, OR)

Stonegate Corner Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Portland region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Portland. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
