Operations Manager - process improvement (Portland, OR)

Bright Umber Inspection Services is an inspection company in Portland with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
