Operations Manager - process improvement (Portland, OR)

Redstone Ridge Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for parts orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
