Operations Manager - process improvement (Portland, OR)

Stonegate Fox Construction Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
