Operations Manager - process improvement (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Summit Clear Energy and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
