Operations Manager - process improvement (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Nova Rowan Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
