Operations Manager - process improvement (Pittsburgh, PA)

Bluepeak Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 210 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules.
