Operations Manager - process improvement (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Lakeside Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
