Operations Manager - process improvement (Pittsburgh, PA)

Bright Harbor Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Pittsburgh, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
