Operations Manager - process improvement (Phoenix, AZ)

Bright Granite Manufacturing Partners manufactures parts and assemblies at its Phoenix plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
