Operations Manager - process improvement (Phoenix, AZ)

Fernwood Pine Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Phoenix plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
