Operations Manager - process improvement (Philadelphia, PA)

Westbrook Fox Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Philadelphia and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
