Operations Manager - process improvement (Orlando, FL)

Bright Orchard Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Orlando region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
