Operations Manager - process improvement (Orlando, FL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Linden Inspection Services Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
