Operations Manager - process improvement (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Summit Rowan Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
