Operations Manager - process improvement (Omaha, NE)

Cedar Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Omaha plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
