Operations Manager - process improvement (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Northwind Birch Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
